Let thine heart take courage; There is no disappointment in the Lord

During the life of a freelancer, there are peaks and valleys with project work. With a slower economy, many freelancers are experiencing valleys. I'm not completely in a valley but, I do want to add some more project work.

Anyway, I came across this quote and it seemed to apply to my life as a freelancer as I try to market myself.

"During seasons when we wonder, “How did I get here and when can I leave?” it’s best to look for our God-given opportunities instead of focusing on the obstacles. That’s the way to do something with our nothing. — David C. McCasland"

My God-given opportunities are to provide excellent public relations service!

"Wait and, in waiting, listen for His leading; Be strong, thy strength for every day is stored. Go forth in faith, and let thine heart take courage; There is no disappointment with the Lord. —Anon."

I read this passage from "Our Daily Bread." I read this every morning. Later that afternoon, I got a call from a potential new client for some writing services! Thank you God!
